I Am Safe
Proverbs 1:33 — “But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”
Safety means God is your refuge and your protection in every season.
God Says You Are Safe
You are held. Even in the most uncertain moments, God is your shelter. Not every situation will feel safe, but you are spiritually, eternally, and relationally secure in Him. He sees every threat before it forms. He guards what you can’t see. That doesn’t mean life is always comfortable. It means you are always covered.
How to Practice Being Safe
- Return to God in moments of fear. When anxiety rises, make it a habit to immediately bring your fear to God. Don’t sit in it alone. “God, I’m scared. Be my shelter right now.” That’s all you need to say.
- Build your inner life on truth, not feelings. Safety that comes from feelings is fragile. Safety that comes from God’s Word is sturdy. Fill your mind with scriptural truth about who God is and how He cares for you.
- Trust the shelter, not the storm. When circumstances feel uncertain, keep your eyes on the One who controls all circumstances. He hasn’t lost track of you.
Prayer
Lord, I run to You as my refuge today. In every place where I feel uncertain or afraid, let Your presence be my peace. Remind me that I am safe in Your hands, no matter what’s happening around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
