I Am a Demolisher
2 Corinthians 10:4 — “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.”
Being a demolisher means God has given you the authority and tools to break down what the enemy has built.
God Says You Are a Demolisher
You were not created to be dominated by strongholds. Whether those strongholds are in your own mind, in your family line, or in the spiritual atmosphere around you, God has equipped you to tear them down. Not through human effort, but through divine weapons: prayer, the Word, faith, and the authority of Jesus. You don’t have to live under what God has already equipped you to demolish.
How to Practice Being a Demolisher
- Identify the stronghold. You can’t demolish what you haven’t named. What lie, habit, or pattern keeps showing up in your life? Name it specifically. That’s where you direct your spiritual firepower.
- Attack with prayer and Scripture. When a stronghold is identified, go after it with intentional prayer and specific Scriptures that contradict the lie. Repetition and consistency matter here.
- Expect breakthrough. Demolishing strongholds takes time, but they do fall. Don’t stop because you can’t see progress yet. Keep swinging. The walls come down.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You for the weapons You’ve given me. Help me to use them with precision and faith. Show me what needs to be demolished in my life and give me the courage and consistency to see it through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
