Scripture: Genesis 39:12: “But he left his garment in her hand and fled and got out of the house.”

Explanation: Joseph was a trusted servant in an Egyptian official’s house when the official’s wife repeatedly tried to get him to sleep with her. He refused because he knew it would betray his master and dishonor God. When she grabbed his clothes and pressured him again, Joseph ran out of the house rather than staying close to the temptation.

Simple Action: Step away from one person, place, app, or conversation that keeps weakening your self-control.

You don’t have to prove your strength by standing next to what keeps pulling you down.
