Stop Wearing What Wasn’t Made for You

Bible Hack: Don’t force yourself to use someone else’s approach when God has already equipped you with a way that fits you.

Scripture: 1 Samuel 17:39: “I cannot go with these, for I have not tested them.” Then David put them off.

Explanation: David was a young shepherd preparing to fight Goliath, a warrior much larger and more experienced than he was. King Saul gave David his armor, but David couldn’t move comfortably in equipment he’d never used. David took it off and faced Goliath with the sling and stones he already knew how to use.

Simple Action: Identify one area where you’ve been copying someone else’s method and choose one approach that better fits your own strengths today.

Borrowed armor can make you look prepared while keeping you from moving.
