I Am Fruitful
John 15:5 — “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
Being fruitful means your life produces something meaningful that outlasts the moment.
God Says You Are Fruitful
Fruitfulness isn’t just about what you accomplish. It’s about what grows because of your presence. The conversations you have, the relationships you invest in, the work you put your hands to, when they’re rooted in connection with God, they produce results that go beyond what you could manufacture alone. You’re not just going through the motions. You’re bearing fruit that matters.
How to Practice Being Fruitful
- Stay connected to the vine. You can’t bear fruit apart from Jesus. That’s not a suggestion; it’s a design principle. Prioritize your relationship with God above your productivity, and watch what grows.
- Be patient with the process. Fruit takes time. Don’t judge your fruitfulness by what you see in a single season. Stay faithful in the small things and trust the harvest will come.
- Pour into people. Some of the most lasting fruit you bear will be in people’s lives. Invest in someone else’s growth. Mentoring, encouraging, teaching, all of it multiplies.
Prayer
Lord, help me to stay connected to You so that my life bears fruit that lasts. Not just achievements, but real impact. Let what I do and who I am create something meaningful for the people I love and the world around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
