I Am Healed
Isaiah 53:5 — “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
Healing means God has the power and the desire to restore what was broken in you.
God Says You Are Healed
Jesus paid for your healing the same way He paid for your salvation. On the cross, He carried not just your sin but your sickness, your wounds, and your brokenness. That healing may manifest physically, emotionally, or spiritually, and sometimes all three. It doesn’t always come instantly. But it always comes from a God who is both willing and able to restore what was taken from you.
How to Practice Being Healed
- Receive prayer for healing. James 5:14-15 is a direct instruction to seek prayer when you’re sick or broken. Don’t white-knuckle your way through pain alone. Let others pray over you.
- Address the root, not just the symptom. Much of what needs healing runs deeper than the surface. Ask God to show you what’s at the root of what you’re experiencing, and invite His healing there.
- Walk in your healing by faith. Sometimes healing requires you to act as if it has already happened before you fully feel it. Thank God for what He is doing even before you see the full manifestation.
Prayer
Father, I receive Your healing today, body, mind, and soul. Touch every place that has been broken. Restore what was stolen and make me whole. I trust that by the wounds of Jesus, I am healed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
