I Am Kind
Ephesians 4:32 — “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Kindness means extending grace, warmth, and care to others without requiring anything in return.
God Says You Are Kind
Kindness is not weakness. It’s one of the most powerful forces in relationships. A single act of genuine kindness can break through walls that years of argument never could. God is kind, and when you walk in kindness, you’re reflecting His nature to a world that desperately needs to see it. Your kindness matters more than you know.
How to Practice Being Kind
- Look for opportunities in ordinary moments. Kindness doesn’t require grand gestures. Hold the door. Offer a genuine compliment. Ask how someone is really doing. Small acts of kindness create big ripples.
- Be kind to yourself. You can’t consistently give what you haven’t received. Treat yourself with the same compassion you’d offer a close friend. Self-criticism without grace is not humility.
- Lead with kindness in conflict. When tension arises, kindness doesn’t mean avoiding the issue. It means choosing the tone of grace even in hard conversations. You can be honest and kind at the same time.
Prayer
Lord, make me kind today. Not just politely nice, but genuinely warm and caring toward the people I encounter. Let kindness be so natural in me that people feel Your presence when they’re around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
