I Am Strong

Psalm 18:32 — “God gives me strength, and He makes my way perfect.”

Strength means that through God, you have everything you need to handle what’s in front of you.

God Says You Are Strong

Your strength doesn’t come from having everything figured out or never feeling worn down. It comes from the God who lives inside you and who never runs out of power. When you feel like you’re at the end of yourself, that’s actually a good starting point because it’s where God’s strength takes over. You’re stronger than you think because the One who holds the universe is holding you.

How to Practice Being Strong

  1. Acknowledge the source. When you feel tired or overwhelmed, stop and say: “Lord, I need Your strength right now.” Asking isn’t weakness. It’s how you access what’s already available to you.
  2. Don’t isolate when you’re struggling. Strength isn’t a solo sport. Let trusted people in when things get hard. God often shows up through community.
  3. Reframe hard moments as training. Every challenge you get through is building your endurance. You’re not just surviving. You’re developing something in you that will serve you for years to come.
  4. Take the next step, not all the steps. You don’t have to figure out the whole path. You just have to take the next right action. Strength is built one step at a time.

Prayer

Lord, I need Your strength today. Not just willpower, but the kind of strength that comes from You. Help me lean on You instead of grinding through on my own. Where I’m tired, renew me. Where I feel weak, remind me that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
