The Power to Stand on Satan’s Judgment

John 16:11

“Concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.”

Authority

Satan is not awaiting trial. He has already been judged and condemned. You stand on the side of the One who rendered the verdict, and you enforce a sentence that has already been passed. That means when the enemy sets traps for you, he is a judged being operating on borrowed time. Every trap he lays is constructed by someone who has already lost.

The Enemy’s Strategy

Satan operates with a false confidence designed to make believers forget that he is a judged being. He projects authority he no longer holds, pretending the verdict has not been rendered. His strategy is to keep you responding to him as though the outcome is still in question, which causes you to step into the very traps he has set rather than walking over them.

The Biblical Example

Jesus spoke John 16:11 in His final conversation with His disciples before His arrest. He told them that the ruler of this world had been judged. This was future from their perspective but certain. The judgment of the enemy was already decided before the cross even happened. Jesus was telling His followers that the outcome was not in question. The ruler of this world had already been sentenced, and His death and resurrection would be the moment that verdict was carried out.

How to Use It

When the enemy attacks, remind yourself and him out loud that he is already judged. You are not fighting to determine the outcome. You are enforcing an outcome that has already been determined. Pray and declare from the position of someone standing on the winning side of a verdict that cannot be overturned. Ask God to reveal any trap set in your path before you reach it.

Declaration

“The ruler of this world is judged. That judgment is final and it cannot be appealed. I stand on the side of the One who rendered that verdict. Satan, you are not a threat I fear. You are a condemned being I enforce judgment against. I declare your judgment over every attack you have brought against my life and I stand on the authority of the One who has already won.”
