I Am Powerful
Psalm 68:35 — “You, God, are awesome in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.”
Power means the God who made everything has given you access to His strength and authority.
God Says You Are Powerful
You are more powerful than you feel on your hardest days. The power inside you isn’t self-generated. It was given to you by God. The same power that spoke the world into existence, that raised Jesus from the dead, that parted the Red Sea lives inside every believer. That includes you. You’re not operating from your own limited reservoir. You have access to something limitless.
How to Practice Being Powerful
- Speak with authority. The words you say carry weight. Stop downplaying what God has given you. Speak about your life, your future, and your capabilities with faith, not fear.
- Act like who you are. Power that isn’t used doesn’t help anyone. Step into the moments where God is calling you to lead, speak, create, or serve. Act from the power you’ve been given.
- Pray boldly. Access the power available to you through prayer. Come to God with specific, faith-filled requests. He responds to bold faith.
Prayer
God, I thank You for the power You’ve placed in me. Help me to walk in it today. Give me the boldness to speak, act, and pray with authority. Let Your power show up through my weakness so that the glory is clearly Yours. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
