I Am Confident
Hebrews 4:16 — “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Confidence means walking forward in who God says you are, even when doubt tries to slow you down.
God Says You Are Confident
Real confidence doesn’t come from your resume, your performance, or people’s approval. It comes from knowing who you are and whose you are. When your identity is rooted in God, it becomes nearly unshakable. You’re not arrogant because you know your weaknesses. But you’re also not shrinking because you know your God. That balance is what true confidence looks like.
How to Practice Being Confident
- Replace self-doubt with identity truth. Every time you catch yourself thinking “I’m not good enough” or “I don’t belong here,” replace it with what God says. He says you’re chosen, equipped, and loved. Return to that.
- Walk into rooms like you belong. Your posture and presence matter. Enter spaces with your head up, your voice present, and your purpose clear. Confidence is partly a practice.
- Stop waiting until you feel ready. Confidence grows through action, not through waiting to feel perfectly prepared. Take the next step and let the confidence build as you go.
Prayer
God, help me to walk in genuine confidence rooted in who You’ve made me to be. Remove the insecurity that holds me back and replace it with a settled assurance in Your love and purposes for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
