The Power to Serve and Advance God’s Kingdom With Your Gifts

1 Peter 4:10

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

Authority

Every spiritual gift you have received is an instrument of God’s grace that advances His kingdom and displaces the enemy’s influence wherever it is faithfully used. Your gifts are not just for personal benefit. They are tools of spiritual advancement.

The Enemy’s Strategy

Satan works to keep spiritual gifts dormant, underused, or misdirected. He convinces believers that their gifts are not significant enough, not polished enough, or not welcome in the situations they find themselves in. He knows that an active, deployed gift is a force against his work. A gift buried, dismissed, or held back is a gift that does no damage to his kingdom.

The Biblical Example

Peter wrote 1 Peter 4:10 to a scattered and pressured community of believers. He told them each person had received a gift and was responsible to steward it faithfully as an expression of God’s grace in various forms. He was not describing a hierarchy of important and unimportant gifts. He was describing a community where every gift, properly used, was an expression of God’s grace working in the world. The deployment of gifts was a collective act of bearing God’s nature into situations the enemy had occupied.

How to Use It

Identify the gifts God has placed in you and look for deliberate opportunities to deploy them. Do not wait for a perfect setting or a large platform. Use what God has given you in the situations in front of you right now. Every faithful use of your gift is an act of advancing God’s grace and a direct counter to what the enemy is doing.

Declaration

“I use the gifts God has placed in me to serve others as a faithful steward of His grace. I refuse to let it sit unused. Satan, the gifts God placed in me are active and they are pushing back your influence in every life they touch. I steward my gifts faithfully as an act of spiritual warfare.”
