Greatness means operating in your full God-given potential for the benefit of others.

God Says You Are Great

Greatness isn’t about fame or recognition. It’s about faithfully using what God has placed in you to make a difference in the lives of others. You have something to offer the world that no one else can offer in exactly the same way. God didn’t create a lesser version of you. He created you fully, on purpose, and with intentionality. Greatness isn’t something you have to become. It’s something you have to walk in.

How to Practice Being Great

Define greatness on God’s terms. In God’s kingdom, greatness looks like service. The greatest people in Scripture were servants first. Ask yourself how you can serve someone well today.
Stop shrinking. Playing small doesn’t serve anyone. If God has given you something, use it fully. Holding back out of fear or false humility is not the same as humility.
Invest in your growth. Greatness is developed, not just granted. Read, learn, stretch yourself. Be intentional about becoming better at what God has called you to do.

Prayer

Lord, I receive the greatness You’ve placed in me. Help me to walk in it humbly and fully. Let me use everything You’ve given me to serve others well. Where I’ve been playing small, give me the courage to step up. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
